Condos present a unique exposure as the unit owners don’t typically own the actual structure but do own their unit.  Condo insurance helps to pay for repairs to your unit and your belongings if they are stolen or damaged by certain perils, such as fire or vandalism. You will also have liability protection for bodily injury or property damage to others.
